The Internal Medicine Department at Global Medical Complex (GMC) provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing, treating, and managing adult medical conditions. Our experienced team of board-certified internists offers evidence-based care for both acute and chronic illnesses, with close integration across subspecialties.
Scope of Services:
- Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient consultations for a wide range of conditions including:
- Hypertension and cardiovascular risk management
- Diabetes and metabolic syndrome
- Chronic respiratory diseases (e.g., asthma, COPD)
- Infectious diseases, including tuberculosis and febrile illnesses
- Gastrointestinal disorders (e.g., peptic ulcer disease, hepatitis)
- Renal, hepatic, and endocrine disorders
- Hematologic abnormalities and anemia workups
- Autoimmune and systemic inflammatory conditions
- Preoperative medical clearance and optimization
- Comanagement of complex patients in collaboration with ICU, cardiology, oncology, nephrology, and other departments
- In-house diagnostics including advanced lab testing, ECG, chest X-ray, abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, and more
